Alternative to crutches and wheelchairs

When I went through my knee surgery, I was using crutches. It did help me a lot in my recovery. But there are other means of alternatives to crutches and wheelchairs. What you can use is knee scooters. It can be three or four-wheeled. Its helpful for people who may had accidents having their leg and arm both getting damaged. For such people crutches are pretty much useless.

It took me some time to learn to walk using crutches when I first started using it. As I have heard knee scooters also has a learning curve to be able to use it properly.

Soma or Sanoma or Carisoma

These are the names fro the drug - Carisoprodol. This is a muscle relaxer that works by blocking pain sensations between the nerves and the brain. It can be habit forming if used for longer periods of time. It can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions.

It you have any of these diseases - epilepsy or other seizure disorder; liver disease; or kidney disease - then you need to take further precaution.

Kerala needs to bring up its medical system

My state Kerala has some of the brilliant doctors in the world. Some of them are working here and some abroad. But the public medial system needs to be brought up to the standards expected. It needs to be updated with the basic necessities like good medicines, good equipment like medical carts etc. Hope that the minister in charge of health hears about this and do something about this.
